My Top 5 Holiday Beauty Essentials!

Hello bloggers!

This blog post is just something random that came to mind but think you might enjoy and find useful! This is my top 5 holiday essentials! These will be the 5 things I can't go on holiday without!
Enjoy!

1.
Body spray/deodrant!
Personally, I think it is essential to bring one of your favourite or best body sprays! Especially if your going somewhere hot! Just incase you get a bit sweaty etc!

2.
Pressed Powder
Personally its a MUST to bring some pressed power, just to set your makeup. If you bring your makeup and you go to a hot country, by the end of the day your makeup is likely to be sliding off your face!

3.
Lip balm/butter
I tend to get dry lips ALL the time so I always have some lip balms or lip butters handy!

4.
Simple Light Moisturiser
Moisturiser is a must anyway, especially if you've maybe got dry skin etc. I like to take it everywhere with me and apply before makeup in the morning and after makeup before bed!

5.
A base
The final holiday essential is a base, e.g foundation or BB cream etc! Even if you don't want to be carting your makeup bag on holiday, it's nice to wear a base throught the day!

Lots of love,
Vikki

Glasgow | Day 3

Hello bloggers!

Whoo! Another great day ahead! Today was my dads choice on agenda.
We left quite early and looked for a bus stop nearby. We found a bus stop in George Square (which looks amazing) and got the number 100 bus to Riverside. Today we went to the Riverside Museum.

The Riverside Museum is a transport museum with loads of old cars, bikes, tricycles, motorbikes, trams, buses, police cars & fire engines.

My mam and I weren't too keen on it seeing as it really isn't our cup of tea but we were proven wrong when we got there. We all really enjoyed it.

We went round a few times, going upstairs as well and getting a drink and sweet from the vending machine. I got a bottle of water and a wispa chocolate bar, which is my favourite!

We then went upstairs to the restaurant cafe (yes I eat a lot) and we got sent to a seat for 3. We got our order taken. I just got a little bowl of chips & milk. My mum got macaroni cheese and water. My dad got the soup of the day which was tomato and vegetable, with tuna and cucumber sandwich with salad and a bottle of Miller. I don't think soup and beer really goes haha!

We finished inside the museum and went out to the Tall Ship. It was a massive ship and you could actually go down into it, like back in the olden days.

It was quite a nice place and we got a brochure as well. I really enjoyed that. We then got the bus back to George's Square at about 1:30pm. I love George Square, it's a beautiful place and really looks like spring!

We went to St. Enoch again and went into the shopping centre, seeing as we didn't have enough time last night to go! It was quite a nice place and I got a few bits from Body Shop and got a smoothie but it wasn't as good as the Buchanan Galleries.

We then got the Subway to Hillhead seeing as there was meant to be a lot of shops there. I've got to say though, I didn't really like it much. There shops weren't very good and i didn't buy anything.

I really enjoyed today though and enjoyed my shopping trip again. I think it was a day well spent! We got a few bits and bobs on the way back for the hotel etc then went and relaxed again.

My feet were aching after the amount we walked today and they definitely need a good overnight rest! We are travelling home tomorrow at about 1pm and should be back by 4pm ish.

I love coming to this city and it's really nice, even though I have always preferred Aberdeen!

Thanks for reading guys, I love you all!

Glasgow | Day 2

Hello bloggers!

So it's the second day of my journey and I had a great day again with my family!
We got up around the same time and I spent a lot of time in bed! I was absolutely knackared! Today was a shopping day! This makes me very excited!
We found out way to Buchannan Street and Argyle Street and went through all of the shops, which was great. I then found a Forever 21 and got so excited! Yes, of course I bought something from it!

I went to a few shops on the highstreet such as Forever 21, Primark, HMV & T.J Hughes. Some great shops and I bought quite a few bits a bobs. Then I went into Buchannan Galleries which is a huge 3 story shopping centre, my heaven.

Inside there I went to a lot more shops! Such as Superdrug & Boots. My 2 favourites. I literally go mad! I bought a few beauty cosmetic products in there which will definitely be going in the haul!

I also went into Lakeland where I bought a few bits and pieces for my bedroom! That's a lovely shop too. Not too dear which is great!

We went for a spot of lunch at Eastern Eats which is in the Food Court of the shopping centre. It was absolutely delicious. I have never tried it before and it was nicer than I expected! It was very filling and I didn't quite finish it but I loved it none the less!

Eastern Eats is a chinese cuisine and i love chinese, it is my favourite type of food!
I ordered some rice with chips and curry sauce. I loved every bit!

We then got the Subway to St. Enoch which is another shopping centre with a street full of shops! We went up the street which was quite busy and had some good shops. Sadly we didn't have enough time to go into the St. Enoch shopping centre as it got quite late and I was very tired!

We then went back to the hotel, had a nice chippy for dinner & relaxed the rest of the night!
Another great day full of shopping an great adventures!

Thank you for reading my second day blog of Glasgow! I hope you enjoyed!

Glasgow | Day 1

Hello bloggers!

So today was the day I left for Glasgow! Exciting right? Hell yeah!
I woke up at like 7:30am which kinda sucks because I love a lie in, who doesn't? We finished the additional packing and off we went at 9:30am!
My grandparents were giving us a ride to the bus stop as it's about half an hour away and we had luggage.
Our bus didn't leave till 11:10am so we went into the Bus Station Cafe for a little while! I got a steak pie and a ribena! It was delicious! I haven't had Ribena in years! We stayed there for a little while before we decided to queue up for the bus, seeing as loads of people were gathering.

Finally the bus came, there was a little mix up but we got through it! There was 2 buses, seeing as they were double booked and SO many people were travelling. We hopped onto the bus and off we went. We needed to change buses at Perth, so the first bus was 2hr30 minutes and the second was 1hr! Unfortunately, on the first bus, I got a little travel sick but by the time we swapped, I was fine.

We then stopped at Perth, changed buses, and off we went to Glasgow!
We arrived at about 2:40pm. I've got to say, the bus station was massive! I've never seen one so big before! We went to the taxi rank, got in a taxi and went off to the hotel.

We booked ourselves in, got settled and relaxed for a while. We are only staying here for one night, then changing hotels for the other 2 nights. Confusing, I know.

We decided we would go to the Quay, which was just across the road. We went and investigated and found alot of what was there. There was Panda's Chine Cuisine, Harvesters, Alea & even a Nando's!!!

We went into the nearby bowling alley and had a few drinks in there which I enjoyed. It was good craic!

We then went back to the hotel and relaxed again, seeing as it was about 5pm and our show wasn't till 6:30pm.

We were going to see the Dancing On Ice Tour Final 2014! The doors opened at 6:30pm at the SSE Hydro so we left in good time, When we got there, it was a little busy already.
Then the show started at 7:30pm and it was BRILLIANT! I am not even joking, it was the best thing I have ever seen!
I've grown up watching DOI on Tv since 2005 so I am very sad to see that there will be no more series!

Besides that, the show was incredible and I was buzzing the whole time!
P.S - I HAVE A MASSIVE CRUSH ON RAY QUINN ;)

So not much happened on Day 1 of my trip, but stay tuned to see the next 3 days! There may even be a haul ;)
