2017 Favourites!

Hey everyone! I got really in the mood to blog again so after ages, here’s a new post! ๐Ÿ˜‚
As I haven’t posted in a long time, my makeup collection has grown a lot this year and I’ve been trying a lot of new products! I thought I’d share them all with you and let you know which ones I love and which I don’t and give a little review! Sooo onto the Makeup! ☺️

Let’s start off with probably the best item in 2017! The Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Collab! I think by now, everyone owns one of these ๐Ÿ˜‚ But it’s just amazing! I bought this palette when it first launched on BeautyBay in the UK as I wasn’t prepared to pay US shipping and customs. It’s officially my favourite palette ever, the quality is amazing, the pigmentation on the colours is unbelievable and not to mention, the colour selection is unreal! Definitely get your hands on one of these if you haven’t already.

Next up is a highlighter palette which is actually from Primark! It’s the PS...Bronze Highlight & Glow palette. I think this is amazing! It’s such a pigmented Highlighter and I love and strong glow, never subtle! As I have such fair skin, I can only get away with using the first white shade, sometimes the second pink one, but I always go for the first. I know I only use one colour in this palette and it seems like a waste, but as it’s from Primark, it’s suuuper cheap, so basically worth it!

As you know, Morphe is amazing for eyeshadows and I’d say it’s probably my favourite eyeshadow brand. I have soooo many Morphe palettes, but this one that I got this year is new and amazing. It’s the 25A Copper Spice palette. The golden shimmery shades called my name and I couldn’t deal! This palette claims to be limited edition, so don’t waste any time!!

Oh. My. God. I have no words for this product! This foundation is the best I’ve ever tried! It’s the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation and it came out recently and I was blown away! It’s super full coverage and flawless. It’s quite a new one on the market, but I’d recommend it to anyone. Also the shade range is great as I have very fair skin and the lightest shade actually works for me!

This next product is super high end and was definitely a splurge which I put off for so long but I’m super glad I bought it! I’d heard everyone rave about this product for so long. It’s the Marc Jacobs Omega Bronzer. Marc Jacobs... I know, screams high end! It’s my first ever MJ product but I’ll definitely be buying from them again. It’s a super flawless bronzer that I use in my daily routine and I highly recommend.

Next we have two Jeffrey Star Skin Frost Highlighters. I know Jeffree Star Cosmetics is a very controversial brand but I personally love his products. The black one is his collab with Manny Mua in the shade Eclipse and the silver one is from his newer collection. It’s in the shade “Crystal Ball” from the Summer Chrome collection! I love these as they’re super pigmented and such light shades, which I need.

I have been OBSESSED with this powder! It’s the Maybelline Fit Me powder in Translucent. It’s a white setting powder but it comes off translucent on the face. It’s extremely good at setting your makeup and making you matte, which I like. I have literally been using this every single time I wear makeup and I’d recommend it to anyone!

Next is quite an unpopular product that I don’t hear many people talking about. It’s the VDL Lumilayer Primer. This is such a gorgeous Primer and it’s super glowy and gives you a gorgeous base for your foundation. I would say it’s very similar to Macs Strobe Cream.

This Primer is insane!! I bought this after watching Shaaanxo use it in a YouTube video and she raved about it. It’s the Urban Decay Self-Adjusting Primer. This makes your skin look absolutely flawless and really smothes it out and makes it look perfect. It makes the perfect canvas for the rest of your makeup and really helps blur our redness and even skin tone. 100% recommend!

This is the Smashbox X Casey Holmes collab. Casey is my all time favourite YouTuber and I’ve been watching her for years, so lf course I had to support her with this. This is a highlighting trio called the Spotlight palette. It’s super pigmented and gorgeous and there’s two shades, Gold and Pearl. The one I currently have is Gold. This is a super staple highlighting piece in any makeup lovers collection.

Another YouTuber Highlight collab is the well hyped and loved Becca X Jaclyn Hill in Champagne Pop. I think everyone owns this by now but it’s a super gorgeous colour. It’s highly pigmented and soft on the skin and super glowy.

This has been my all time favourite Primer this year and it’s the YSL Touchรฉ ร‰clat Blur Primer. This Primer is very high end and has gold specs throughout which you can’t see when it’s on the skin. This primer is extremely soft and makes your skin feel silky smooth and ready for foundation. It creates the perfect base for your foundation to apply flawlessly.

This has been a recent favourite but it’s one I had wanted to purchase for a very long time. The LA Girl Pro Conceal was a recommendation from Shaaanxo on YouTube. She loves this concealer and raves about it and I can see why. It’s a great Concealer with good coverage that gives flawless skin under your eyes. It’s also extremely cheap so definitely worth it.

A more higher end Concealer that’s been well loved is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. This Concealer is weightless and gives full coverage and gets rid of any bags or discolouration under the eyes. It’s slightly more expensive than the previous one but still affordable at £17. Definitely recommend if you have a little more money to spend.

The final product that I’m going to talk about is the Maybelline X Gigi Hadid collaboration. If I keep going, I’ll be here forever ๐Ÿ˜‚ This is a drugstore product but it’s a lot more pricey. It’s the Lash Sensational Mascara. They originally have this Mascara in their collection but this is limited edition packaging which I adore. I love the wand of this Mascara particularly as it’s curved so coats all your lashes easily. Definitely my all time favourite mascara.
Soo that’s all I’m going to mention in this 2017 Favourites! I hope you enjoyed this blog post and if you did then please leave a comment and share it around ☺️ Also leave me suggestions on other blog posts or tweet me @topshopzoella

The Balm Nude'tude Palette!

Recently I got a new palette! I had seen M from Emily-Victoria Canham on YouTube using this palette and she was raving about how much she loved it, so I decided to purchase it too! I think this is a great nude palette, maybe for someone starting out in eyeshadow as it's got alot of neutral colours in it.
These eyeshadows are so amazing and I'd never purchased anything from The Balm before so I am so impressed with this brand! I will definitely be purchasing some more products from there. The eyeshadows in this palette and so bold and pigmented and give really great colour payoff. It's not the kind of eyeshadows you need to be rubbing your brush in all the time to get colour to go onto it, they go on the brush straight away and are really bold on the eye. They show up really well. You also get a shadow/liner brush with this palette as you do with most eyeshadow palettes.

The colours:
Top row - left to right
Sassy - Stubborn - Selfish - Sophisticated - Sexy - Serious
Bottom row - left to right
Snobby - Stand Offish - Sultry - Seductive - Silly - Sleek

I also love the names of all these shades, I think it's a really well thought out palette and I highly recommend it to anyone as it's not too pricey either. It would make a great gift to a friend, sister or your mum! My favourite shades are Sassy, Stubborn and Sexy.

Let me know in the comments if you have this palette and what your favourite shades are!

New Palette!

Hey everyone!

Recently I bought a new eye palette and I think it's so cute and handy and I love it! I think there is about 3 in the collection so far and the one I wanted was actually out of stock at the time, so I bought this one instead! I love all the shades in this and I would recommend this palette to anyone, especially if you're just starting out with makeup or eye shadow in particular. I bought this from Superdrug and I think it was reasonably priced and quite cheap :) The brand is BarryM and this is a great quality brand too. It would make a great Christmas present for your friends aswell ! It comes with 3 matte shades, 3 shimmer shades and a neutral primer. Here are some pictures...

Lots of love,
Vikki xoxo

Beauty With An Edge || Urban Decay

Hello bloggers!

~beauty with an edge~

Recently I bought the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette and I've been meaning to do a blog post on it but just totally put it off, so here it is!

This is actually one of my favourite makeup beauty products right now. I know loads of people who say these aren't really shades they would use but they are perfect shades for me.

I got this a lot cheaper than what the original price is which was a bargain. It is the only naked palette I have tried so I can't really compare it to any others.

I love how there is a mix between shimmery shades and matte shades!

My most used shades are Strange, Dust, Limit and Factory.

I like to use Strange for my brow bone for a little highlight and the other shades for the lid, outer corner and crease.

I haven't used the really dark shades on my eyes as I like to keep it neutral and to be honest, it scares me wearing them shades!

I love to use the shade Factory for my eyebrows and it gives a really good finish which I love. It's such a good shade for my brows.

Strange - Dust - Burnout - Limit

Buss - Trick - Nooner - Liar

Factory - Mugshot - Darkside - Blackheart

❤ Have you got the Naked 3 Palette? ❤

Lots of love,

What's in my make-up bag?

Hello bloggers!

Today, my blog post is going to be the old famous 'what's in my make up bag?'
I will have no idea of the prices or where I bought them but I'm sure you'd be able to find out!
I hope you enjoy and let me know in the comments if you have any of these products or if you have any you want me to try out!
Enjoy☺๐Ÿ’•

Mascara's

1. The first mascara I have, (which is sadly nearly finished) is SuperSHOCK from Avon! It's not to pricey and it good quality. I have used many products from Avon and they are all really good! I did actually get this product for free though.

2. The second mascara that I have is Lash Extreme Volumising Mascara. This has got to be the best mascara I have ever owned but sadly it is coming to an end so I will need to find out where I bought it so I can re-purchase it! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Foundation

1. Extra Lasting Liquid Foundation
I have always bought this foundation as it gives a lovely finish and is really good! It may be quite pricey for some people but does a great job! I also remember that I got this from Avon too! I got this in the 'Ivory' shade as that complements my skin tone very well.

2. The second foundation I have is Miracle Matte Foundation. The bottle says it's Matte Satin Flawless Finish and is OIL FREE - SPF 15. Now I wasn't too keen on this foundation as I didn't really like the way I had to apply it. This may just be because I got the wrong shade as I bought it in 17 - Natural instead of Ivory as I couldn't find the right one.

3. The third and final foundation that I have at the moment is GALLERY Colours Fresh Moisture Liquid Foundation. This is quite a good foundation that I am using right now and I have it in the shade Ivory. It seems quite a pinky ivory as it doesn't look like the usual shade but overall, it's a good product.

Extra's

1. Firstly I have SUNKISSED BRONZING PEARLS. I don't tend to use this very much as some of the pearls are quite dark and I have very light skin. I am very pale! But overall it gives a lovely finish.

2. This isn't really a make-up product but it's a brush. It is a Laura Paige brush. It is quite good quality but it is very big, so sometimes it will smother you, especially if you have a small face. It used to be my mother's so I have no idea if you would still be able to purchase it anywhere!

3. The next thing I own is a very good product and probably the best I've owned. It is Glam'eyes Professional Liquid Liner. This is a Rimmel London product so it wasn't very cheap. I bought this in Superdrug so if you would like to purchase it then I'm sure it would be wherever you live! You should try it out!

4. The next few things are 'Simple' products, which I absolutely love! I love this brand as they have everything you need and always do a great job! The first thing is 'KIND TO EYES - Eye Make-up Remover'. Sometimes I have a job trying to get my mascara off, especially if it's waterproof, but this product removes any type of mascara. Try it out!

5. The next product is 'KIND TO EYES - Eye roll-on'. Now I get bags under my eyes quite often, so this product works wonders as it wakes up tired eyes! I would definitely recommend it to anyone! Check it out!

6. The final 'Simple' product I own is 'KIND TO SKIN - hydrating light moisturiser'. Now this is an amazing product and I put it on when I wake up, and before I go to bed. It reduced pores and moisturises your skin to make is smooth. You should definitely buy this product as it isn't too pricey.

7. The final product I have in my make-up bag is Barry M Limited Edition Lip Gloss. This is probably one of my favourite lip glosses, hence why it's in my make-up bag! I do like Barry M so this is a very good lip gloss. It is silver, with sparkles through it.

Just in case you were wondering, this is my make-up bag that I carry around with me. I have one that I keep a home but this one I have in my bag!

------------------------------------

So to finish off this blog post, I'd like you to comment which product you liked from the ones above, and also which your favourite is from your make-up bag!
Thanks for reading, byeee!
:) <3
